Capture it

Photos are amazing things.

They capture a moment in time, an expression, or a mood. They can help diarise important moments, be the trigger you need to take you back to an earlier time and a discussion point from generation to generation.

When I look at these photos, I am overflowing with mixed emotion.

My heart bursts with love for her. It’s not possible to love anything this much.

I am intrigued. Who does she look like? I can see myself in her. I can see her father in her. Genetics are incredible.

I am bewildered. Her hair is so long, she is wearing shoes, she looks so big. Where did the time go?

I am worried. She is my responsibility. I hope I can give her everything she needs. Will she be ok?

Photos are more than just snaps in time. They keep you accountable, in check and on form.

People say that getting caught up with taking photos can mean you don’t live in the moment. There is certainly a fine line. However, if you get that line right, you can live in the moment forever more.
